about me

Hello! I am a Sound Designer with a B.F.A. in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design - ProTools certified as of August 2022 and the seventh person in the world to receive the Dolby Atmos 2023 Certification. With experience in theater spaces and a burgeoning, award-winning career in post-production sound for film - including the Gold Award from the Hollywood Gold Award Festival and a Silver Award from the London Gold Award Festival - I have the expertise to collaborate on your project with great results.

My Process

there are three questions I always ask directors when collaborating with them.

can you tell me about your characters?

It's important for me to have intimate knowledge about the movie's subjects so I can understand how to best support them and their motives with sound. I like to think of sound design in itself as a character within the film constantly helping to accentuate and support.

do you have any sound design in mind?

While I love approaching projects that are a blank slate it is important to me to keep the integrity and soul of the projects I work on. Collaboration is also a huge part of any project and I love being given ideas and inspiration.

if there is one thing you want people to take away from this film, what would it be?

While this question may seem difficult, I find that often it forces a person who is very close to a project to take a step back and really think about the narrative and theme. My goal is to deliver a final project that exceeds expectations and in order to do that it's necessary to know the main goals of the project.
